Omg…nobody loves the person who only texts, calls, or emails you when they need something.

You know that friend.

They seem to always have an agenda or an angle they are trying to work.

As a fundraiser, you probably feel like that sometimes. Heck, you’re probably had a few emails from people letting you know that they feel like your organization only contacts them when you want something.

But, what if you changed the way you communicated with constituents?

Instead of constantly communicating your needs, share the impact. Share the hopes and dreams you have for your cause.

It’s ok to share the need. In fact, it’s essential. But, if you don’t balance the need with TRUST and IMPACT, you’ll just be another Needy Nonprofit.

Make your case, but let people feel like they have a choice.
